12th MONTEE DU LINGA CLASSIC

Mountaineering skiing competition an finale of the 7th Mountain Ski Tour Challenge.

Since last year the circuit of the traditional Classic du Linga has changed. If the original uphill circuit still brings the racers from the bottom to the top of Linga, they go on now to Plaine Dranse passing by the Chalet des Combes.

3 different circuits are available providing to the competition a sportive character as well as a popular and friendly nature.
Awarding and meal are organized at Plaine Dranse, in this magic high pasture area perfectly adapted to this type of race.
 

The Circuits:
 

The race is open to all.
Categories: men and women, from minimes to vétérans 3.

A Circuit:

Departure : Linga at 1135m.
Arrival: Plaine Dranse at 1645m.
Difference in level: + 1170m and - 670m .
Distance: 8400m.
 

B Circuit:

Departure:  bottom of Leiche ski lift at 1538m.
Arrival: Plaine Dranse at 1645m.
Difference in level: +760m  and - 670 m. 
Distance : 6800m.

C Circuit:

Departure: Intermediaire at Linga at 1730m.
Arrival: Plaine Dranse at 1645m.
Difference in level:  +595m and -670 m. 
Distance : 6200m.

Intermediate timing taken at the top of Linga.
